POLICY & ADVOCACY CONFERENCE (PAC): A HISTORICAL DAY OF FINYE.
Policy & Advocacy Conference (PAC) has marked 13th October of every year as a FINYE Day which will be celebrated in every FINYE’s networking countries and First Annual General Meeting (AGM) of FINYE with the valuable participation from distinguished members of FINYE. The conference has urged especially on financial sustainability of FINYE as a crucial factor . In order to resolve this, different activities like FundRaising World Tour Campaign, Organizing Gala Dinner with Entrepreneurs needs to be organized, exposure of FINYE from renowned personalities like Mr. Bhusan Dahal, Mr. Anil Kheshary Shah, Mr. Rajesh Hamal and in order to raise funds and most importantly contributing 30% of the generated fund through different activities by National Executive Committee (NEC).
A review from each of the National Executive Committee (NEC) has been shared by each of the presidents from each country.
● FINYE Australia Team shared about the Welcome program to His Excellency Ambassador of Nepal to Australia Mr. Kailash Raj Pokharel in presence of young and dynamic entrepreneurs.An interaction program with Banking and Finance expert of Nepal Mr. Anil Keshari Shah along with young entrepreneurs of New South Wales (NSW) on how Nepalese diaspora in Australia and around the globe can use their skills, capital and human resources around the globe for the economic growth of Nepal. The major focus of this program was to explore the investment opportunities in Nepal for economic development. The concept of Monthly business breakfast in each country should be replicated so as to share the challenges and opportunities of business and investments. The same model of program has been scheduled for ‘Victoria’ and ‘Tasmania’ .
● In the same way, FINYE HongKong is planning to organize a FINYE fair/exhibition program so as to facilitate and promote the Nepali products like handicrafts, hemp product. The team has developed an innovative idea of fundraising (E.g. Investing NPR. 10000 from each of the individual members in production of incense sticks from which 4-5 ladies will get job opportunities and the final product can be exported to the International Market. The legal provision of exporting the hemp product needs to be included in the constitution of FINYE so as to make it easy to export.
● Likewise , the FINYE USA team is concerned with how to get the funding from US Silicon valley, the Government of USA?Further the team has collaborated with Gold Star shoes in the US.
● In the same way, FINYE UK is focussed on the financial sustainability and planning to give continuity to the FINYE Talk show every month. The team has done a constructive discussion with Britain Chamber of Commerce and planning to register FINYE UK after the completion of event of 4th December, 2022 (i.e. Third Mrs. Nepal Universe)
● In the same way, FINYE Japan is planning to organize a trade fair event in order to promote the Nepali product, raise the fund and most importantly to create a brand of FINYE.
● Similarly, FINYE Middle East shared about the challenges of forming a team in UAE where the political challenges always come to the forefront while trying to expand the network. The scenario is same in case of USA as shared by Vice President of FINYE IEC Mr. Prakash Thapa

To summarize, the historical PAC conference has amended the constitution with the successful accomplishment of Annual General Meeting (AGM) , FINYE Day (13th October) as a FINYE Day and official launch of FINYE website.
