Bidhya, a Chartered Accountant and MBA in Finance, is the Managing Director of Dolma Fund
Management, which manages a collective AUM of USD 108 million through Dolma Impact Fund
I, Nepal’s first international institutional private equity fund, and Dolma Impact Fund II. These
funds focus on private sector development via risk capital investment, with prominent investors
including FMO, OeEB, Finnfund, DGGF, Swedfund, IFC, BII, DFC, and JICA.

Before Dolma, Bidhya made a significant impact in Nepal’s banking sector, contributing to the
transition of a financial institution to commercial bank status. His CA training in Delhi provided
experience in auditing sectors like energy, telecommunications, and energy-efficient
manufacturing. In Nepal, he furthered his expertise in equity valuation, audit, and consulting,
especially for hydropower projects with foreign investment, at an internationally affiliated
accounting firm.

Bidhya is also a certified corporate director from the Institute of Directors, India, and completed
the London Business School’s Accelerated Development Program on Leadership. He has
served on the council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal and was on the board
of Rastriya Banijya Bank, the largest state-owned bank in Nepal. He continues as a non-
executive director on multiple boards, representing Dolma Impact Fund.
