Rajeshwor Gyawali is the Director General of the Department of Industry under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Government of Nepal. Since joining government service in 1998, he has amassed extensive experience across various pivotal roles in the Nepalese government.
Rajeshwor holds an MPA from Tribhuvan University, an MBA from Ajou University in South Korea, and an LLM from Turin University in Italy. Demonstrating his commitment to continuous learning, he is currently a PhD candidate at Seoul National University in Korea.
Throughout his distinguished career, he has served in key positions within the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Finance, Prime Minister’s Office, Kathmandu Metropolitan City Office, Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning in Sudurpaschim Province, and the National Planning Commission. His diverse expertise has significantly contributed to Nepal’s development across multiple sectors.
As Director General, Rajeshwor plays a crucial role in shaping industrial policies, promoting commerce, and enhancing supplies management in Nepal. His leadership and vision are instrumental in driving economic growth and fostering sustainable development within the country.
