Hon. Kabindra Burlakoti is the Chief Whip of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and a Member of the House of Representatives, Federal Parliament of Nepal, representing Gorkha Constituency No. 2. He is recognized for his longstanding commitment to democratic governance, youth leadership, public policy, and national development.
Holding academic qualifications in Finance and having completed studies in Human Rights and Business at the University of New South Wales, Australia, Hon. Burlakoti brings a multidisciplinary perspective to public service. Prior to his parliamentary career, he gained professional experience in the travel sector while actively engaging in youth empowerment, governance, and civil society initiatives.
Beyond his political responsibilities, Hon. Burlakoti has dedicated more than two decades to youth leadership and social development. He served as a Youth Advisor to the United Nations Nepal from 2008 to 2012, contributed as a member of the National Youth Policy Task Force under Nepal’s Ministry of Youth and Sports, and has represented Nepal at numerous international youth forums and leadership conferences. Throughout his career, he has championed youth participation in governance, peacebuilding, leadership development, and policy reform, making him one of Nepal’s prominent advocates for youth empowerment and inclusive national development.
