Mr. Sur Krishna Vaidya is a distinguished entrepreneur, business leader, and community advocate with decades of experience in business development, organizational leadership, and social service in Nepal. Recognized for his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to community development, he has successfully led numerous business enterprises while making significant contributions to economic and social progress.

As the Chairman of Gyan Kunj Educational Foundation and Sugam Investment Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Vaidya has played a pivotal role in promoting quality education, entrepreneurship, and sustainable investment. He also serves as Director of several aggregate and infrastructure companies, contributing to Nepal’s construction and industrial sectors.

Throughout his career, Mr. Vaidya has held several prestigious leadership positions. He served six successful terms as Chairman of the Kavre Minibus Service Committee (now Kavre Panauti Transport Pvt. Ltd.), overseeing major institutional development and infrastructure expansion. As the former Chairman of the Kavre Chamber of Commerce and Industry, he led the organization during challenging periods, including the 2015 earthquake and the border blockade, coordinating relief initiatives and strengthening institutional capacity through infrastructure modernization.

A respected voice within Nepal’s business community, Mr. Vaidya has been serving as a Senior Vice President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and currently chairs the Local Economic Development Committee. His leadership has consistently focused on fostering entrepreneurship, strengthening local economies, and promoting public-private collaboration.

Beyond business, Mr. Vaidya is deeply committed to public service and community welfare. He has served as Chairperson of the Kavre Branch of the Nepal Family Planning Association, Central Member of the Association, Coordinator of the Palanchok Bhagwati Integrated Development Fund, and Member of the Chandeshwari Temple Reconstruction Committee. His dedication extends to education, healthcare, religious institutions, senior citizen welfare, youth development, and sports organizations, where he continues to serve as advisor, secretary, committee member, and mentor.

Currently, Mr. Vaidya also serves as Joint Secretary of the Mai Chandeshwari Senior Citizens’ Home, Secretary of the Sanatan Ritual Worship Management Committee, Chief Advisor to the Bagmati Tipper Entrepreneurs Association, Advisor to Banepa Lions Club, Nepal Civil Karate Association (Kavre), Nepal Taekwondo Dojang (Kavre), Sindhu Helambu Transport Pvt.
