FINYE Africa Expresses Concern Over Proposed Restructuring of Nepali Embassies in Africa

Canada Nepal News reports that Ram Prasad Padhya, Africa Regional President of FINYE IEC, has expressed serious concern over the Government of Nepal’s reported plan to reduce or restructure Nepali embassies across Africa. He emphasized that embassies play a critical role in supporting Nepali citizens, entrepreneurs, students, workers, and peacekeepers throughout the continent.

As the Nepali community and economic engagement in Africa continue to grow, FINYE Africa has urged the Government of Nepal and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to carefully evaluate the long-term implications of any such decision.
